things science can't explain ...

Near death experiences are the incidents shared by the individuals who were either pronounced clinically dead /* obviously they survived and later on shared */ or were very close to death. Thousands of people from around the world have reported NDEs.

THE AMBIENCE

· Life flashed before eyes-a Life review

Survivors have claimed that the Time slowed down and the person’s entire life replayed in 3D holographic images /*of people and places close to them */ through their mind. They felt that they were being judged for all their deeds but also being enlightened to how their actions affected other people. Various emotions like happiness, satisfaction, elation, regret, guilt, love, serenity fetched them naturally absorbing heavenly peace – quite alluring, soothing and healing.

· An out of body experience

A Sight of the body from the top or the sky as if they left the body and were moving up continuously. Sometimes survivors observed doctors and nurses performing medical resuscitation efforts. And sometimes they saw their loved ones at distant places.

· The tunnel of light

They felt as if moving up, or passing through a passageway or staircase to the next world.

· Encountering "Beings of Light" or deceased

There witnessed telepathic conversations with the light or religious figures or with deceased relative or with their loved ones.

· They felt like going through a matrix that had no spatiotemporal boundaries. They felt as time ceased to exist, there was just that moment in time, no past no future.

SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATION AND THEORIES

· Dying brain theory

All brains die in the same way and that is why all NDEs have essential core elements which are the same. They are the result of neurotransmitters in the brain shutting down which creates lovely illusions.

· Lack of oxygen theory

Cerebral anoxia produces a confusing dream-like state of delusions and hallucinations. But NDEs have also occurred in people without anoxia.

· Right Temporal Lobe theory

Instability and activity in the brain's right temporal lobe is responsible for religious experiences of deep meaningfulness, early memories, and out-of-body experiences.

· Cortical Disinhibition theory

The tunnel and the light is an optical illusion created by the effects of anoxia and drugs, creating cortical disinhibition, with the effect of random light spots radiating from the center of a dark internal visual field.

· Hallucination theory

It explains NDEs and similar imaginative visions of the afterlife as hallucinations, similar to the effects of psychedelic drugs or anesthesia. But in the state of unconsciousness, the brain cannot create images. Even if they did, the subject would not be able to remember them. Therefore theory isn’t convincing.

· While other theories like Denial of death theory, Endorphine theory and fear of death theory suggest that it is brains reaction to cope with trauma of death.

· There are other theories like Quantum physics that confirm reality of NDE’s.

EVIDENCES THAT SCIENCE ISN’T ABLE TO EXPLAIN

· Scientific evidences supporting reincarnation and existence of people after death in some form of energy.

· People see and hear verifiable events far from their bodies during a NDE

· Groups of people can share same NDE.

· NDEs are real events because they can be replicated in the laboratories.

· Ralph Duncan who died of leukemia and had a NDE. During his NDE, Jesus cured him and told him he no longer had leukemia. Duncan returned from death cancer-free.

· A blind and mute 67 year-old diabetic woman with severe heart problems was about to undergo open-heart surgery when a Being of Light appeared and healed her of all her congenital illnesses.

· Five days after abdominal surgery, an English patient had complications and died. During his NDE, a Being of Light healed him. The patient returned from death healed.

· Mellen-Thomas Benedict brought back a great deal of scientific information concerning biophotonics, cellular communication, quantum biology, and DNA research after his NDE. If you are spiritual a must read http://www.near-death.com/experiences/reincarnation04.html

· Olaf Swenson on the basis of the information gained from his NDE later went on to develop over 100 patents in molecular chemistry.

· NDEs support Einstein's theory of time travel ‘Theory of Relativity’ and theory of consciousness.

tHoS3 2 MiLeS ...

The Sun City “Jodhpur” blazing in all its attire awaiting and soliciting my presence was finally blessed ;-) Well for me, it was just a refreshment tour of 2 days before RTU exams, but for some, it was “THE INFOSYS” the first campus interview.

The written test following the presentation began a little late. After those “70 minutes” we headed back to the hotel. Though Paper was easy to crack, I had no expectations. Soon the thunder hit hard. The first list was on notice boards. I could see the tension piling on calm faces. All my friends rushed to the MBM College. But I had a more promising reason to stay back. I was going to meet my school friend after 3 long years.

I got a call. A world definitely turned upside down. Dumbstruck, I could only say “how’s that possible?” My name was on the list. I cleared the entrance test.

Then the quest began. All of sudden everything was missing – shoes, folder and my common sense. I rushed out of the hotel and I found my friend standing outside. I felt relieved. Both of us hopped on the scooty. I had once read

“It's impossible to plan your day and your life as accidents will happen, you'll overhear things, bump into people, and take unexpected turns.”

I didn’t have the slightest idea that these words were gonna summarize everything.

We didn’t even travel a km and the scooty stopped. So I decided to hire a taxi. Meanwhile, I got another call saying “report in 5 minutes”. No taxi driver was ready to go. Finally I found one with an old man. Then I realized I had only Rs. 500/- note with me. I called my friend again. Those 10 Rs notes never looked so crucial. I was comforted but not for a long time. Taxi driver had some hearing problem and he didn’t even know the way to the college. I could only shout “arey uncle kisi aur se rasta pooch lo” but in vain!!!

Somehow I landed and in my usual wild ways crashed (due to iron bars) as well. My legging was tattered, knees bled and hands were bruised. I arranged a safety pin and fixed it. I had an adrenalin rush. For the second time in my life I was very nervous. I was all blank. “Fortunately” I found a friend, he boosted my confidence. I washed and cleaned my hands and headed. I was notified that my application was incomplete .I finished it and then realized my phone was missing. Troubles apart, I was summoned. I flushed out everything from my mind and said to myself “there is nothing worse that can happen after this”

My confidence was back. Interview went really good. It was all over and I had tears in my eyes. Everything flashed back. I didn’t know what these drops were for: happiness, content, insecurity, anger, frustration. “Explanation of an emotion ain’t that easy!!!”

Results were announced after a while, but I was all blank again.

Though, I was selected.

Mockin’z melody:

I remembered black skies, the lightning all around me
I remembered each flash as time began to blur
Like a startling sign that fate had finally found me
And your voice was all I heard that I get what I deserve”
